As we currently operate, our principal means of support comes from donations received by painting address numbers on city curbs.
Our Steadfast Reputation
Care For The Children has a solid reputation for maintaining resident’s confidence and adhering to all requirements for performing the work as authorized by the permits and licenses we receive from each city. We’re able to maintain our reputation because our highly trained employees have multiple years of experience in the fields of customer relations and solicitations for voluntary donations.
Additionally, Care For The Children’ Solicitation Policy requires the immediate removal of any employee who displays high-pressure tactics to obtain a donation or generates a valid complaint from a resident. Our “Good Works” page attests to our reputation, dedication and willingness to give back to the community.
Our Dedication To The Community
In keeping with our goal of helping those in need, Care For The Children gives back to the communities that we fundraise within. Under our policy, we give a minimum of 20% of the net proceeds we receive from our fundraising efforts.
We select a local charity which specifically targets the needy, less fortunate, homeless, and/or a local church or religious organization that has an outreach program the focuses on assisting those in need.
In addition to the financial gift, Care For The Children will donate up to $3000 in new clothing and blankets (if available) to that same organization.
We understand that there are those residents who do not need our service to paint their curb address, nor would like to be disturbed. For those residents,
IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR ADDRESS PAINTED, PLEASE TAPE THE NOTICE YOU RECEIVED TO THE CURB. WHEN OUR PAINTER’S SEE THE NOTICE, HE WILL “SKIP” YOUR ADDRESS
